Question by Bee: What is a good host for a book review website?
I, along with one other, am hosting a book review website called The Book Junkie. We are currently using freewebs.com, but the HTML filter isn’t very good. It only gets us 20 free pages, also. Using templates is not an option. Our site is www.thebookjunkie.webs.com . As you can see, it is very untidy. If you have any suggestions for host sites, please let me know! Also, if you would like to become part of our staff, or just write a book review or two, please feel free to email me at xxlilsh0rttiixx@yahoo.com Don’t worry. We have about 20 or 30 more reviews that aren’t put on that site. They were put on a petpage from neopets.com Thanks a bunch! **It must have an HTML filter!!

Get your own domain, and pay for a decent web host, I use Hostmonster. It does’nt cost that much. /year.. if your site is decent, it will pay for itself.

I want to use web hosting to put on my website, and i want to get a reliable one. what’s the differeence between the share hosting and servers.Is there anyone know some reviews and website about web hosting?

if you are looking for a free host awardspace.com is a pretty good one for that. If you are looking for cheap hosting that has like a gig of space unlimited mysql scripting, average bandwidth etc. (for a small site), then i recommend cleverdot.com (very reliable, and like /yr i believe for the deal. very cheap) for a larger website, i am not sure exactly what will help, but i heard that godaddy.com is very reliable and not too expensive and supports the usual scripting and databases. and probably a lot better bandwidth too.

hope that helps out some. there may be other great hosts that are reliable and have a good price, but these are the best ones i have come across

i want to build a file hosting web.. need a large disk space.. and most of unlimited plan does not allow me to host a file hosting website.. is there any others?

I’m not certain just what you want to do with this, but if all you want is a place to store files and allow others to download them, then I suggest cloud computing. I use dropbox.

If you need for people to have passwords and you want to control the downloads, why not use sharefile? That is also SEC compliant.
