I was planning on getting a dedicated server from 1and1 since their prices are unbelievably good (and I have some trust in them since United Internet owns them (they own GMX Mail as well and its fantastic)) And I think all the reviews I am finding on the internet are heavily biased about them and put there by other hosting companies anyone out there have anything that is actually honest about them?

Heres how it goes with hosting,
If it’s dirt cheap, then it equates to crap. You want a server, that is cost effective AND reliable. I have not used 1and1, but was thinking about it, but heard MANY horrible things about that host – reliablity, etc…
I suggest you use this host. It’s awesome. It’s the ONLY pay-as-you go host.
